ABOUT

Greetings Inquisitive Art Admirers,
We are so pleased that you have found your way to Souk Topia.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the term ‘souk’ it is the name given for marketplaces throughout the Middle East and Africa. Some are small local venues while others are sprawling bazaars filled with just about everything under the sun.
The many eclectic items and treasures found here are the result of over 40 years of scouring souks, auctions, trade shows, art galleries, antique stores, swap meets, and garage and estate sales. We have bought, traded, and collected oodles of modern to ancient objects that we have found particularly unique, artistic, historical and thought provoking. It has been a lot of fun!
Our website is designed for you to browse, listen to inspiring music, and read interesting and often humorous insights from the world around us. While you view our wares, it is as easy to imagine a dedicated and creative artisan 3000 years ago carving an intricate ancient seal, as it is to admire a modern potter turning a piece of clay into a vase or a jeweler setting gemstones into a newly forged gold ring.
We hope you enjoy browsing through our online souk and we look forward to answering any questions or comments you might have. We are always very interested in discussing quality art, unusual collectibles, history and the cosmos!
Thank you for stopping by. Please contact us!
Best Regards,
Randy and Vicky Jungers
You can also find us on ebay where we have been listing and selling ancient art and fine collectibles for 18 years under the handle randall3563.

"The Guennol Lioness is diminutive in size, but monumental in conception."
"Just 3 1/4 inches high, this all powerful lioness-woman sculpture was expertly carved out of crystalline limestone some 5,000 years ago in the Elam culture, just east of Mesopotamia. Its creation coincided with the first known use of the wheel, the development of writing and the emergence of the first cities of the world"
The "Guennol Lioness" stands alone as
a truly magnificent work of ancient art.
On December 5, 2007 this amazing masterpiece sold at a Sotheby's auction for the eye-popping sum of $57.2 million.
